Sponsor a Christmas Tree

It's reached that time of year again and Halifax Minster is proud to announce its 8th Christmas Tree Festival, running from Friday 29th November - Monday 2nd December. The Minster is filled with the sight and scent of over 40 Christmas Trees, all available to be sponsored. You may choose to promote your organisation or business, honour the memory of a loved one or just want an excuse to get festive!

After the festival, the trees remain on display in the Minster until the New Year.

Sponsors can choose between a 6ft tree at £135 or a 9ft tree at £185. The trees are allocated for decoration on a first-come, first-served basis on Tuesday November 26th and Wednesday November 27th from 9am - 4pm. The trees come provided with a stand and lights already in position, many stand on top of the pews for a greater effect.

This year, the Minster will be hosting the BBC One’s live broadcast of the Christmas Day Service - so your tree could be on TV !!

The Festival is open to the public from 10-4pm daily from Friday November 29th - Monday 2nd December. (On Sunday it opens later, at 12pm after the Morning Service, surrounded by all the trees). Activities, live music and refreshments are available. Booking isn't necessary, although for larger groups, please contact [email protected] in advance! During the festival, adult entry is £2.00, Children - FREE. Payment by card is preferred.
