The Arthur Conan Doyle Centre and Edinburgh Association of Spiritualists are pleased to offer a workshop with experienced medium and ordained Spiritualist minister, Janet Parker. The focus of this one day workshop will be on how we can make a simple difference to someone’s life, via the use of a gentle, caring voice to bring a powerful force of healing.
This workshop is equally suitable for:
Mediums of all levels, who wish to learn more about how they can use voice as part of their practice
Those who are drawn to helping people in other forms.
The healing voice can be the soothing balm that is needed to bring relief to an agitated mind. Even within ourselves, we can find that through the breath and gentle thoughts, we can settle a racing mind. The voice has a strength that, if used in the right way, can make others feel safe.
What to expect from the Healing Voice workshop.
Meditations to get us in the right frame of mind for the day.
A talk from Janet on the various kind of worries or fears that people have to deal with, this will be interaction with people joining in with their views and ideas.
Discussion about the voice techniques that can be used for soothing and settling.
How we can bring calm to ourselves and our worries.
Working on a one to one basis with others, using our sensitivity and understanding to be able to enable others to help themselves.
Supporting and encouraging partners to a greater understanding of being more at peace with themselves.
