About this Event
The Healing Feast and The Good Neighbor Concert series join forces this month to offer a high-quality listening-room experience, along with food and community, for healing connections. Singer/songwriter, sacred space facilitator, and cook facilitates the Healing Feast to share nurturing, globally-inspired food that is mindful of the earth, along with practices to help us embody joy, healing, creativity, and abundance. Singer/songwriter hosts The Good Neighbor Concert Series to provide a high-quality, inclusive, and accessible listening-room experience for the Greater-Lansing area, while also workjing to raise awareness, funding, and other support for local nonprofit organizations.
This month's event the first time these two series have paired up, and they are focusing on the theme of Renewed Energy to celebrate Earth Day. The food, music, dialogue, and other practices of aliveness will guide us to explore how we can approach life with renewed energy, find new approaches to old problems, and relate in sustainable reciprocity with the earth and all her inhabitants.
The featured artist will be Detroit songstress an award-winning singer/songwriter who has released 7 albums to critical acclaim in a career that spans over 30 years. Her methods of composition articulate grace and uncover hidden places that defy easy categorization.
