COPAA is pleased to offer The Grounded Roots Initiative- SEAT - Weekend Special Education Advocacy Training at NO cost to parents, guardians, and students with IEPs and 504 plans in the Confederated Tribe of Umatilla and Warm Springs communities. This training will focus on:
Overview of IDEA, Evaluations, IDEA & FAPE, IEP
Document, Least Restrictive Environment, Procedural Safeguards, Behavioral & Discipline,
Transition, Section 504 & ADA.
The training is from January 17 - 19, 2025, at the Nixyaawii Education Center
