A halloween theatrical experience in the open air ancient ruins. Dare to join us? An event suitable for everyone.
About this Event

This halloween wrap up and join us in the open air ancient lesnes Abbey Ruins and be trasported back to the 12th centuy for the chilling and magical tale of the Golin of Lesnes, a halloween event like no other.

The Gobin of Lesnes, a new play by Jordan Paris directed by Nancy Sullivan (ITVS Changing Ends star)

There are only 3 nights of the year the doors of the Abbey will open...
But only 1 person can leave.
What price will he pay for freedom? and is all gold in the world ever enough?

Join us for this dark tale of the Goblin of Lesnes told during twilight performances with illuminations as part of Bexley's Night Visions festival.

Sit in the ancient 800 year old walls of Lesnes Abbey Ruins with a backdrop of the ancient woods and be captivated as this reimagined classic is performed by amazing professional actors in this semi-staged reading ... There isn't a more perfect way to get into the spirit of Halloween.

We invite you to wrap up and bring a blanket, visit our spooky pop-up shop and settle in for this special Halloween occasion, adults without children (who aren't scared) are very welcome!

This performances is suitable for all ages but those with tickets must be able to sit for the duration of the performance (1hr) so we recommend 6yrs+.

Touch Tours available Thursday 30th October

Touch Tours give our patrons who are visually impaired the opportunity to experience visual parts of the production through touch. We give those who wish to participate the opportunity to touch parts of the set and any major pieces of scenery, props and costumes. This is to help audience members to immerse themselves in the imaginary world presented on stage. The touch tour for The Goblin of Lesnes will take place in the morning prior to the performance on Thursday 30th of October. If you would like to participate please email us at [email protected], after you have booked your tickets, to register for the tour.
