Step into a world of wonder at The Gem Museum Singapore

Trace the full journey of a gemstone — from deep within the earth to a finished piece of jewellery. Our guided tour takes you through the mine-to-market story, with rare specimens, interactive displays, and clearly labeled exhibits that make the world of gems accessible to everyone.

What You'll See and Do

• Follow the Mine-to-Market Journey: See how gems are extracted, cut, traded, and set into jewellery.
• Encounter Rare Specimens: Get up close with unique minerals and phenomenal gems from around the world.
• Engage with Interactive Exhibits: Explore crystal systems, gem origins, and hands-on challenges designed for all ages.
• Experience the LED Gemstones of the World Map: Discover where the world's most prized gems come from.
• Touch and Examine Samples: Handle real gems and see how rough stones transform into polished beauty.
• Browse the Gem Museum Shop (optional): Find meaningful souvenirs or start your own gemstone collection.

Free Guided Tours run on: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM only.

Arrival policy

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early. Late arrivals may not be admitted if the slot is full, but we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Be greeted by our rock garden and learn to spot the difference between gemstones in raw and polished forms.

Try our LED Gemstones of the World Map—flick the switch and see where gem mines are located.

NOTE: This is an add-on to the Geode breaking Experience. This ticket does not come with a geode.

Start the cutting and polishing process from the beginning. You get to slice a baby geode open and polish 1 face of the geode. Ticket comes with 1 baby geode (not for breaking but for cutting) and our guide to show you how to cut and polish the stone! $20/baby geode
