Bringing together curator Tamares Goh, artist duos Chow and Lin and Ruobing & Sai, alongside moderator Kwok Kian Chow, this panel explores art practice as the ultimate language of counterbalance. It will unfold artistic collaboration to us as a system of negotiation, exchange, and mutual dependence. Through art, differences can coexist and complement each other.

Through discussions on co-authorship, interdisciplinary practice, and the dynamics of working in pairs, the conversation will examine how collaborative methodologies challenge conventional notions of individual artistic production. In this context, the artist duo can be seen as an aesthetic equilibrium that addresses the turbulence of the modern era and offers a visual and conceptual framework for navigating a world in which we are all small, yet interconnected, parts.
