We're marking the day by launching a new film — THE GAY APP DICTIONARY 📱
Many queer people use apps and online networks like Grindr, Gaysir, GayRomeo and similar sites to meet others — and within these spaces, a whole coded language has developed. Emojis and slang that signal chemsex, condomless sex (barebacking), and more that you might not know the meaning of (or maybe you already do 👀).
The goal isn't to judge — it's to help you make informed choices. Whether that means turning down something you didn't realize you were being invited to, or taking precautions if you choose to participate. Knowledge is harm reduction. 🔑
The film was made by Frida Media in collaboration with Sex og Samfunn.
