About this Event
The Frass Institute is convening a global group of researchers, companies, practitioners, and partners to advance shared understanding of insect frass as a tool for soil health, nutrient recovery, and circular agriculture.
The meeting will take place the afternoon of November 19 following the NACIA Annual Meeting and a lunch break, with participants reconvening briefly Friday morning. The gathering will be hybrid to support global participation.

The meeting will focus on the Institute’s core work: convene, clarify, and scale.
We will convene people working across research, production, regulation, customer use, and the broader soil health and biological inputs landscape.
We will clarify what is being learned, where knowledge gaps remain, and what questions most need shared attention.
We will support scale by identifying practical priorities, useful outputs, and opportunities for collaboration over the next 12 months.
Initial areas of focus will include frass in wine grapes and vineyards, microbial activity of frass, biostimulant-related claims, customer and farmer engagement, crop advisor and distributor perspectives, and future crops or questions raised by participants.
This is a working meeting designed for shared learning and practical next steps.
