In this workshop, we’ll be exploring the four winds otherwise known as the four directions North, South, East and West from a shamanic perspective. In a shamanic medicine wheel, the notion of connecting to the archetypal energies of the 4 winds is not only a ceremonial practice, it’s based off a universal framework to view the natural, but not always linear, progression of consciousness. It helps us to understand ideas and what we cannot physically see or quite understand on our healing journey.We’ll be looking at the four winds and their archetypes of power animals, elements and Father Sky and Mother Earth. The medicine wheel represents life stages, interconnectedness, balance, and the universe. It ultimately helps us to create sacred space and find our centre.
The 2-hr workshop will include:
- Butterfly Blue Peaflower & Blue Lotus tea
- Introduction to the 4 directions and their significance
- Opening Sacred Space, calling in the four directions, mother earth and father sky.
- Gentle circular nose breathing breathwork throughout
- Light dialogue about each direction
- Shamanic Sound Bath including crystal quartz singing bowls, koshi chimes, drums, tuning forks, rain sticks, other percussion instruments and more.
You’ll leave feeling connected, balanced and more in a state of harmony physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, as well as full of wisdom to integrate into your life.

About your facilitator:
Lindsay holds 300+hrs Yoga Teacher Training. She also holds 100hrs in Breathwork and Shamanic meditation teacher training from Johnson Chong, a Shaman, and is certified in Level 1, Level 2 and Master Reiki and is also certified in Crystal Healing. She is a certified sound practitioner and is the certified educator & stockist for Rainbow Sounds. She has also completed her tuning fork training with the Sound Healing Academy. She also completed her training in Yin Breathwork (Rebirthing Breathwork) with Suntara in Bali in 2023. She is passionate about mother nature and the power of breath / sound / energy healing.
