About this Event
đź‘‘ When History Walks Into a Sewing Shop
What happens when Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy, Lady Bird Johnson, and Mary Todd Lincoln step through time into a struggling seamstress’s shop?
🎠Secrets, Survival & Social Justice on Stage
The First Ladies Coalition is a powerful one-woman show written and performed by Ginger Grace and directed by the legendary Austin Pendleton. Colleen McCracken—an ex-convict, survivor of domestic violence, and extraordinary seamstress—finds her life forever changed when iconic First Ladies appear in her sewing shop. Together, they unveil mysteries, confront stereotypes, and ignite Colleen’s courage to demand the extraordinary in life.
✨ Why You’ll Be Inspired
