The First Eucharist: A Day of Recollection

Join us for a day of prayer, Adoration, and fellowship as we prepare to journey with our Lord on His his Passion, climb to Calvary, and Resurrection.

Our Day of Recollection is rooted in the First Eucharist. We'll learn about and pray with the foreshadowing of the Eucharist in Holy Scripture and how God's promises in the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New.

With time for silent reflection, confessions, and being in community, this day will help prepare us to finish our Lenten journey and proclaim the Good News of the God's unfathomable love for each and every one of us.

Our Day of Recollection is held at the Pitass Center at St. Stanislaus. It's the building just to the right of the church if you are facing the church entrance.

Info: Our first speaker of the day will be Father Peter Santandreu. He'll unpack for us the Scriptural roots of the Eucharist.

Info: Our Day of Recollection will have plenty of time for silent prayer and reflection. We'll have quiet time after each of our speakers to spend time in prayer and allow the Holy Spirit to pull us deeper into relationship with Him.

Info: Father Peter will answer questions from the group on his talk.

Info: We will spend time praying with a Lectio Divina and have time to share with the group some of our reflections.

Info: Father Peter will hear confessions during our lunch break and the chapel will be open for private prayer. Please either bring a lunch or choose the ticket option that includes a boxed lunch!
