What if imagination is our greatest superpower?

That question sparked The Fires We Lit anthology.

Join us in celebrating the launch of a new anthology, led by Gayathri Shukla, featuring 25 women writers connected to STEM and innovation who dare to ask: what futures might become possible when women’s experiences are not only heard, but reimagined.

Through fiction, fantasy, and true lived experiences, authors move beyond what is known and ask deeper questions about identity, power, belonging, and the systems that shape our lives.

This is a reflective, community-centered event featuring live readings, storytelling, and one-time only illustration showcase of the original artwork. It’s a space to connect, celebrate, and support the arts in Calgary.

Food and drink are included. Books for purchase will also be available at the event.

❣️We are also pleased to offer a free storytelling workshop sponsored by Lotus STEMM at 9 AM at the same venue. First come-first serve registrations will also receive a free ticket to the book and signed a copy of the book.
