About this Event

hosted by Wood St. Collective, is a vibrant community celebration focused on literacy, creativity, and connection. Following a successful first year serving over 200 families, this year’s festival aims to reach 600 families through books, arts, performances, local authors, guest speakers, and youth-centered activities. The event is designed to inspire reading, support learning during the summer, and create meaningful opportunities for families, schools, and organizations to connect. Guests can enjoy book giveaways, poetry, panel discussions, interactive experiences, and community resources in a fun and welcoming environment. The Englewood Summer Book Fest continues to uplift culture, education, and neighborhood engagement while creating positive experiences that bring people together through storytelling, creativity, and community.
