THE END: Vocaloid Opera (2013)

7th Film Club at Seventh Heaven Bar & Karaoke is screening Hatsune Miku's opera debut THE END: Vocaloid Opera (2013) by Keiichiro Shibuya, producer/playwright Toshiki Okada, filmmaker YKBX and iconic utaite producer PinocchioP. Additionally, Marc Jacobs, then the artistic director of Louis Vuitton, and his studio team designed and provided costumes specifically for Hatsune Miku. Basically, Miku goes high art.

Using Hatsune Miku as a medium, the opera reinterprets the tragic structure often seen in classical operas, posing fundamental questions such as “What is death?” and “What is an end?”

Doors at 7pm, screening starts at 8pm.
