About this Event

THE EMBODIED WOMAN SALON

You don't need to accomplish anything here.

You don't need to improve yourself.

You don't need to arrive with a goal.

Come notice what is already here.

Your body.

Your breath.

Your experience.

Your wisdom.

Your life.

And perhaps, for two hours, let yourself have it.

CONTINUE THE PRACTICE

The Embodied Woman Salon continues monthly with new themes exploring desire, voice, boundaries, receiving, power, relationship, self-trust, and embodied self-expression.

Each Salon stands on its own, so you are welcome to begin here.

Come for the practice.

Stay for the remembering.

Sandra Rose Galiwango, she/her

Sandra is a JourneyDance™ Facilitator, somatic coach, Sacred Sexual Awakening & Healing® Practitioner, Vital Mind Reset Coach™, MSA/MBA, and Academy Teacher Trainee.

Her work brings together movement, somatic practice, embodied leadership, transformational coaching, and experiential practices to help women reconnect with the parts of themselves they may have learned to leave behind.

Her guiding question is:

THE DETAILSWhat becomes possible when you no longer have to abandon yourself?

This Salon is for women who are curious about living with greater presence, self-trust, and aliveness.

You might be:

A mother.

A professional.

An entrepreneur.

A leader.

A creative.

A caregiver.

A woman navigating a transition.

Or simply someone who has quietly wondered:

"What would it feel like to actually enjoy the life I've created?"

You don't need a particular title, background, or level of accomplishment.

YOUR FACILITATORYou simply need curiosity and a willingness to practice.

We'll spend two spacious hours together moving between embodied practice, reflection, conversation, and integration.

Come prepared to:

Move.
Feel.
Notice.
Receive.
Practice.
Connect.

No dance or embodiment experience is required.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move.

WHO IS THIS FOR?Come exactly as you are.

The Embodied Woman Salon is a monthly gathering for women who want to explore what becomes possible when we bring more of ourselves into the way we live, love, work, and lead.

Each Salon blends:

Movement
Reconnect with your body's wisdom and vitality.

Reflection
Notice the patterns that shape how you experience yourself and your life.

Experiential practice
Try something different—not just think about it.

Conversation
Be witnessed by other women exploring similar questions.

Integration
Take one simple practice with you into the rest of your month.

This isn't networking.

It isn't a lecture.

It isn't therapy.

WHAT TO EXPECTIt's a place to practice being more fully yourself.

In this special September Salon, we'll explore the embodied capacity to have.

Not just to achieve something.

Not just to receive something.

But to actually let it land.

Through movement, reflection, conversation, and experiential practices, we'll explore questions such as:

What do I already have that I haven't fully allowed myself to have?

Where do I rush past my own accomplishments?

What makes receiving difficult?

Can I let myself enjoy something without immediately looking for what's next?

What happens when I stop treating my life as a project to improve?

This isn't about settling.

WHAT IS THE EMBODIED WOMAN SALON?It's about developing the capacity to fully inhabit what is already here.

The Practice of Having What We Have

Saturday, September 19, 2026
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Cambridge, Massachusetts | 11 Garden St. Cambridge, MA

WHAT IF YOU COULD LET YOUR LIFE BE ENOUGH?

So much of life is spent reaching.

The next goal.

The next accomplishment.

The next version of yourself.

The next thing you're supposed to fix, improve, achieve, or become.

And yet sometimes the deeper practice isn't getting more.

It's learning how to have what you already have.

To actually receive the love.

Feel the accomplishment.

Enjoy the moment.

Let yourself be supported.

Take in what you've created.

Allow something good to belong to you.

Many women are extraordinarily skilled at doing.

But having requires something different.

It asks us to slow down.

To receive.

To inhabit.

To let ourselves be seen.

THE PRACTICE OF HAVING WHAT WE HAVETo tolerate the vulnerability of having something we value—and allowing ourselves to enjoy it.
