Get ready for a day of sun, smiles, and creative vibes! We are gathering at the historic Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens for a relaxed afternoon of games, music, poetry, and great company. Whether you want to share a poem, play a game, or just lounge on a blanket and chat, there’s a spot for you.

• When: Saturday, 18th July
• Time: 1:00 PM onwards (feel free to drop in whenever!)
• Where: Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, London
• What to bring: A picnic blanket, your favorite snacks/drinks, any outdoor games you love, and your creative spirit.

🎙️ Introducing: The Echo Chamber

The heart of our social is The Echo Chamber—our very own acoustic pop-up space right on the grass. Think of it as a cozy, low-pressure, open-mic circle where voices, ideas, and melodies bounce around.

• 📜 Poetry & Spoken Word: A welcoming space to read your favorite published poems, share your own raw drafts, or just sit back and listen. No judgment, just appreciation.
• 🎵 Acoustic Music: A place for unplugged tunes. Bring along a guitar, a ukulele, a percussion instrument, or just your vocal cords for an easygoing jam session and sing-along.
• 💬 Big Conversations: When the music pauses, it's a space to echo thoughts, share stories, and connect deeply with the people around you.

🎲 What Else is on the Agenda?

• Lawn Games & Play: From classic outdoor games to card games—feel free to bring your favorites along to break the ice.
• Good Vibes & Socializing: The perfect excuse to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and soak up the summer sunshine.

📍 Finding Us: We’ll set up camp on the main grass area. Look out for the colorful picnic blankets and listen for the sounds of The Echo Chamber!

Info: The Warm-Up & Welcome We’re kicking things off with a soft landing. Use this first hour to mingle, drink and settle in. To get the creative juices flowing without the pressure of a stage, we’ll jump into some lightweight improv games and fun.These aren’t about being a professional actor; they’re just a fun, hilarious way to break the ice, shake off the nerves, and get everyone laughing together.

Creative Sparks & Poetry Workshops

Info: Once we’ve found our rhythm, we’ll transition into our Poetry Workshop Prompts. This is a relaxed, collaborative session where we’ll provide unique themes and "spark words" to help you scribble down something new. Whether you’re a seasoned lyricist or someone who hasn't written a poem since school, these prompts are designed to be accessible and inspiring. You can choose to share what you’ve written with your table or simply keep it in your notebook for a future Echo Chamber.

Whether you're strategising over a game or tucked in a corner discussing your favorite books, this is where the community really clicks.
