‘Earth Path Sacred Drumming and Ceremony Birth Keeper Practitioner Training' is a course that guides you in supporting your birthing family clients in a deeper way drawing upon the shamanic gifts within, and the gifts of mother earth, through ceremony, safe shamanic drum journeys, safe grounding energy work with the drum, and grounding ritual. We explore the UKs concepts for Shamanic/Seership for Birth space holding.
Through this course you grow into your role as gatekeeper, as a space holder. The birth keeping path opens many people to more than the physical nature of birth. Which is why I felt into creating this course.
You will be working with your clients in supporting them through their birth as the rite of passage it is for them.
This course aims to help you feel into deeply holding space, seeing beyond the physical yet with your feet firmly on the earth.
This is a course for people interested in supporting people through the birthing year. It will flow through the year.
You will be mentored through shamanic practices and ceremony, so you can include this as part of your support offerings to birthing families.
It is a certified course with CMA – Complementary Medical Association and accepted by The College of sound Healing. Aproved by Doula UK
Eva has created this course through her own experiences as Eva found the path had not been yet fully forged for birth keepers in working with the drum and our own Celtic / Saxon more shamanic and traditional practices in such a deep way for birth keepers.
And so this course was born.
A bit about Eva:
Eva is a tutor with the college of sound healing, and has been on a path exploring various shamanic, and pagan facets of life for her adult life. Eva has been training in Sacred drumming and shamanic healing practices for seven years, and trained to become a tutor with the College of Sound Healing. Eva has been a doula for eight years, a Shamanic Practitioner for eight years, and a pagan celebrant for six.
Eva is a mum of four children and uses shamanic practices within her own work as a doula.
An outline and dates:
24th 25th October Drum Making stanmer park
21st and 21st November 2026 Laughton - Finding your path and connection.
23rd 24th Jan 2027 Laughton Drum journey and ceremony.
6th and 7th March 2027 antenatal, journey, healing.
15th 16th May 2027 Birth - drum through birth.
10th 11th July. Postpartum - healing.
18th 19th September 2027 _ final ceremony, fire walk.
Seven in person weekends.
With one online mentoring call in between the in person weekends.
Guest Speakers.
Weekend One - Making your own Drum and tool's, connecting within.
Weekend Two - will be about opening and holding space. Self connection, earth spirituality, and self care.
Weekend Three - Diving deeper into our own connection, and how we can support other.
Weekend Four - will be supporting your clients antenatally in shamanic preparation of birth. Sacred drumming for antenatal support.
Weekend Four - seeing birth as a rite of passage, and ceremony. Drumming through birth.
Weekend five - supporting postnatally, and ceremonies for the birthing year.
Final Weekend - assessments and our own rite of passage course completion ceremony. Fire Walk.
There is an optional second year to dive deeper into Shamanic Healing Practices to support parents.
There will be optimal calls between sessions, to support you through offering ceremony, antenatal drum journey, space holding with drum, drumming through birth.
Guest speakers will be joining us on zoom calls between the weekend dates.
At the end of the year the final weekend will be to recap any questions, and hold a ceremony in recognition of your training completion.
You'll be certified by a registered body, CMA for insurance and professional care for yourself and your clients.
This course has been a long time coming, I will really look forward to opening the doors with you to a shamanic path for birth keeping.
