About this Event

Guest curator Rastko Novaković will open the screening with an introduction to the film.
Many years ago, they were a couple. Together, Theres and Kenneth travelled through Greece in 1984, financing their travels by busking. Their carefree happiness comes to an abrupt end when Kenneth learns of his mother's accident and immediately returns to his home in England. When the couple meet again in Germany, the magic of the past has faded. 30 years later in Berlin: Actress Ariane separates from her husband David, a renowned anthropologist. From his new flat near the main railway station, David can see a homeless man. As Theres walks past the man on the street, she realises that the homeless man is Kenneth. After exchanging glances, she continues on her way without saying a word.
Directed by Angela Schanelec, 2016, 81 min
