The Dirty Gerund Poetry ft: Monica D. Vance

Come on down to read your work, tell your jokes, bear your soul, all while accompanied by the coolest backing band since the invention of Ray-Bans. Monica D. Vance is a mental health therapist (LICSW), a writer, a poet and a speaker. She wears multiple “hats,” but she enjoys motivating creatives online and offline.
She has been practicing as a therapist since 2017. She currently works at a community health center in which she counsels from both trauma and attachment-focused lenses.
As a creative, she enjoys sharing her original poetry at open mics in Rhode Island and the New England area. She has been a poetry feature at poetry open mics in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
