With over a decade of experience, he has developed a unique style that appeals to a diverse audience. Initially inspired by classic rock, Quinn's musical journey led him to explore jazz influences from legends like Miles Davis and John Coltrane, embracing free improvisation.
In 2007, he released his debut self-titled CD, "Dirk Quinn," and gained recognition playing alongside renowned artists. His sophomore album, "QuinnTet," features intricate melodies and expressive improvisations. The Dirk Quinn Band's music blends various genres, attracting listeners with their energetic performances and innovative sound.
The band released "Live at Home" in January 2012, showcasing their live show experience with a mix of melodies and hard-driving funk. Their infectious energy and modern edge make them a standout in jazz/funk improvisation.
