The Detroit Black LGBTQ+ Pride 2024 - The Reclamation of Black Pride

This year will provide a series of events with community partners and organizations that support the visibility of Black LGBTQ+ people and providing safe spaces for communities of color to celebrate on another, be educated by one another through shared experiences that display the impact of health disparities that continues to provide avenue to poor health outcomes, and reclaim the voices of Black LGBTQ+ people that will center the direction of advocating for healthier and safe spaces for the community.

The Detroit Black Pride Society Incorporated is a 501c3 non profit organization assembled to address the impact social determinants of health impact LGBTQ+ people of color and the provide safe to discuss innovative ways to attack social, internal, and systemic barriers that reduces the visibility of our community.
