After this he worked as a producer in the UK and Italy and 1985 his film composing career took off, working with a variety of cult directors including Dario Argento, Lamberto Bava, Michele Soavi, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Richard Stanley, Clive Barker and more including scoring Danny Boyle’s debut film Shallow Grave, the award winning The Crying Game, 90s cult cyberpunk film Hackers and collaborated with Orbital on the score for Octane.
