"YOU either love ’80s music, or you’re wrong. Every decade has the music which defines it and the 1980s was arguably one of the best. It’s a many-faceted catalogue: synth pop, glam metal, new wave, post punk, dance pop, new romantic, ska, dark wave, goth, and of course, alternative. We can discuss (argue about) these genres for days, even getting into where and when they overlap, but for a comprehensive lesson specifically in alternative ’80s, you need to go to a Deadbeats gig."

The Deadbeats return to Woodstock Brewery to blast off another LIVE alternative 80s party like no other in Cape Town. It’s our favourite venue and the shows here are legendary! In fact, Woodstock Brewery was recently nominated as one of the ten best venues in Cape Town. We like to think we helped with that!
