The DSK Bazaar is back â bigger, better and with extended hours! Cape Town's favourite family event with a touch of Oktoberfest! 31 October & 1 November 2025 â Two days of German Bazaar fun! Once a year, the German International School Cape Town (DSK) transforms into a vibrant hub of authentic German food, beer, unique market stalls, exciting kids activities and festive funâoffering something for everyone: friends, families, and colleagues alike! Friday, 31 October 2025 | 15:00 â 23:00 We kick off the festivities with an Oktoberfest-themed afternoon and evening. Expect a vibrant, after-work celebration featuring a live German Oktoberfest band and delicious favourites like Eisbein, Bratwurst, Weissbier and more (vegetarian & halaal options are available). Selected kiddies rides will be open on the sports field from 15:00h to 18:00h. Saturday, 1 November 2025 | 10:00 â 23:00 Our main family day on Saturday is the highlight of the weekend! Held on the DSK sports field and lower part of the school, this all-day celebration is a community fundraiser with a strong focus on family fun. Expect: Live performances by local and German bands throughout the day. A headline performance by a Oktoberfest band, our festive band from Germany. Prize giveaways, market stalls, tasty treats, and plenty of activities for all ages. Exciting Attractions: FUN PARK * for younger kids: Sweeper obstacle Rocket launcher Carousel Football games Bow & arrow Face painting...and more! YOUTH PARK * for teens: The popular Pool Disco returns with top local DJs at the outdoor swimming pool! Donât forget your swim gear! Evening open air disco at Amphi-Theatre. * Activities and attractions subject to change. Tickets To avoid disappointment, secure your early bird tickets by 31 August 2025!
