How can anyone claim to know the history of the Universe? It seems like a knowledge reserved for gods, but the universe follows the same rules of physics that make cars and smartphones work. The Big Bang model describes the universe we live in with remarkable accuracy. Jonathan Byrd, an undergraduate at NC State doing research in cosmology, will show you why.
