Founded in 1887 on the sun-drenched Milazzo peninsula of northeastern Sicily, Feudo Solaria represents over a century of winemaking tradition under the dedicated stewardship of the Grasso family. Now guided by fourth-generation winemaker Alessio Grasso alongside his sons Tullio and Carmelo, this historic estate seamlessly bridges ancient Sicilian heritage with modern organic viticulture. The family cultivates their coastal vineyards with deep respect for the land, focusing heavily on the region's indigenous grape varieties that thrive in the unique maritime microclimate and complex soils of the island. Every bottle is entirely estate-grown, vinified, and bottled within their single facility in Milazzo, capturing an authentic snapshot of Sicily's wild coast. From their vibrant, mineral-driven whites to their expressive, sun-ripened reds, the winery balances intense Mediterranean aromatics with elegant, food-friendly freshness. Operating under both the historic Cantine Grasso name and their contemporary Feudo Solaria label, the estate continues to champion the ancient wine styles of their ancestors while delivering a pure, artisanal taste of modern Sicily.
