Rice Howard Way becomes a skatepark, an art market and a concert for one afternoon.
The Cypher is a free, all-ages street festival in the middle of downtown Edmonton. A mini ramp and street course built for the day. Six crews battling for the title, hosted by pro skater Joe Buffalo. Indigenous artists painting decks live. An art market, breaking, graffiti, punk and hip hop, building to a headline set at sunset. The day opens with an Elder's blessing on Treaty 6 territory.
Free. All ages. No tickets. Bring the kids.
