The Curl Lab: Wash Day Essentials for Ages 8 to 15

The Wash Day Essentials Lab is a hands-on curl education class designed for youth to take the confusion out of wash day and replace it with confidence, clarity, and connection.

Hosted in a comfortable beauty salon setting, youth will learn how to detangle, shampoo, and condition their hair with guided support. Together, youth will learn how to observe texture, identify porosity, and understand what curls need for moisture, definition, and health.

This workshop combines science, bonding, and cultural connection. Empowering youth with clarity, skills, and confidence. This is not a styling class. It is a hands-on essential experience focused on how to properly care for textured hair through a simple, repeatable wash day routine youth can confidently recreate at home.
