Looking to make a real impact in your local community.We host a weekly event held at Munn Park, Lakeland at 10 am on Sundays.
The Cosmo Project is a local
501-c3 non profit in Lakeland, Florida that provides aid to the local unhoused citizens through public donations.
Our mission extends beyond the basics, in addition: helping individuals secure housing, IDs, and travel assistance.
Volunteers are welcome and appreciated. Please message us and confirm participation ahead of time by contacting Mike Carrano.
Donations can be dropped off any Sunday at Munn Park, Lakeland, between 0940 am and 1040 am, or through a coordinated pick-up or drop-off time and location.
We help an average of 90 unhoused people per weekend, and donations are continuously needed.
* Men's Pants/Shorts size 29 to 36
* Non-perishable foods
* Snacks
* Water, Gatorade, Juice
* Hygiene items:
* Deodorant
* Wipes
* Hand Sanitizer
* disposable razors
* over-the-counter medication: ibuprofen, Tylenol
* Walkers
* Scooters
* Wheelchairs
* Bicycles
* Women's and men's clothing (new or slightly used, please)
* Women's and Men's Shoes and work boots
* Monetary contributions to buy these items or Housing/Hotel
Costs.
($1500 in weekly monetary and physical donations needed to serve our community every week. ) An average of 90 people per event.
