The Connection Table: The Art of Asking 10/8/26
About this Event
At some point, almost every relationship reaches a moment when you need—or want—to ask for something: an introduction, information, participation, investment, support, or an opportunity.
But knowing what to ask for is only part of it. How do you know when it is appropriate to ask? How do you make the ask without turning the relationship into a transaction? And how do you protect the relationship whether the answer is yes, no, or not yet?
This interactive Connection Table explores the idea of earning the ask and recognizing the next appropriate move. We’ll work through ASK → WAIT → GIVE → WALK AWAY and use real-world scenarios to practice discernment.
Relationship Capital isn’t about how much you can get from the people you know. It’s about understanding the relationship well enough to know when to ask, what to ask for—and when not to ask at all.
What to Expect
An interactive, facilitated experience with conversation, reflection, and practical relationship-building exercises. This is not a traditional networking luncheon—participation is part of the experience.
