I invite you to these fleeting flashes, linking together into an enduring story about the art of remaining in each other's lives despite anything.
The COMPANION showcases a friendship that has lasted for decades. Through moving across the North Sea, recovery and relapse, marriages, parenthood, near death experiences, and the unspoken knowledge that we might lose one another to the reckless ways we choose to live our lives.
We are still here, and we are still here for each other. I want to honour the person that I can stand by through conditions that should have torn us apart.
Luce Kronström is a photographer who through these intimate and raw photographs hopes to awaken curiosity about the art of remaining in each other's lives despite anything.
