Join us at "The Community Garden: From Sunshine to Salad," an interactive, family-friendly program where learning and fresh food come together. Participants will engage in a hands-on photosynthesis activity led by Master Gardeners, exploring how plants use sunlight to grow and thrive. An Extension Health and Wellness educator will guide families in preparing a fresh vegetable medley with salsa dip, highlighting simple ways to enjoy nutritious, seasonal produce. Each family will receive a grow bag, soil, and salad seeds to start a mini garden at home. Part of a grant-funded series for Lebanon County families, this program supports those interested in the YMCA Community Garden and will provide resources for future classes. This event is being offered at no charge to participants.
