Join the City of Cleveland and Global Cleveland for The Cleveland Era: A Global Welcome, a Welcoming Week event celebrating Cleveland’s identity as a welcoming, globally connected city.
Hosted in the Cleveland City Hall Rotunda, this public event will bring together residents, international community members, civic leaders, consular representatives, dignitaries, and community partners for an evening of conversation, connection, food, and entertainment.
The program will explore Cleveland’s growing global presence, the role of newcomers and immigrant communities in shaping the city’s civic, cultural, and economic life, and how welcoming is central to Cleveland’s future. The discussion will also connect to the broader Cleveland ERA vision, including affordability, neighborhood vibrancy, public safety, economic growth, modern infrastructure, business attraction, and building a City Hall that works more efficiently for residents and businesses.
Through a City Club-style conversation and State of the City-style discussion, attendees will hear about Cleveland’s next chapter as a place of belonging, opportunity, global partnership, and international connection.
