Featuring Christy E. O'Connor's Installation and short film debut She Is Not A House.
The curation of this exhibition is influenced by micro historian Carlo Ginsberg. Each artist has a distinct style that goes beyond the conventional boundaries of Western fine arts. Their creations speak a unique visual language, one that not only portrays but also questions familiar archetypes, pop culture, classic landscapes and portraiture. Although their work often embraces surreal elements it consistently presents vivid characters and settings that seem tangible as if they might inhabit the real world. This blend of imagination and reality invites viewers to explore familiar themes through fresh thought-provoking perspectives.
