The Cat in the Hat and Other Poems + Kids' Open Mic

This one’s for the kiddies! Bring your strollers, snugglies, and baby backpacks as the Cat in the Hat is conjured out of Dr. Seuss’s beloved poem and cavorts all round the Bowery Poetry Club. Afterward, all the young folks are invited to bring their oral arts -- poetry, jokes, songs -- to the stage. It’ll last about an hour, or until the last child wakes up. Appropriate for all ages but geared toward the littles and the elementary school crowd.
