James MacPhail is widely regarded as one of the preeminent producers of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Sonoma County. His path is one of singular pursuit: crafting wines of elegance, purity, and profound site specificity. With The Calling, he continues this mission, focusing on sourcing the finest grapes from the Russian River Valley and Alexander Valley. Known for his artisanal, hands-on approach and commitment to sustainable farming, James creates wines that are not only delicious but also complex and expressive of their unique vineyards.

Executive Chef Richard Holley has designed a magnificent five-course menu, thoughtfully composed to pair seamlessly with James’s masterful selections.
