Hello and brace yourselves for another slamlicious poetry night that the universe only allows to happen once a month. Yet again we have up to 12, 3min, open mic-ers fighting for your poetic ears and the fantastic winners prize. There is great food and drink available to purchase from the cafe (The Albionn) and our brilliant winner from last month, Bob (If my currently terrible memory serves) will be giving us 10 minutes of his best. We also have the amazing SPOZ helping Ade present all this delicious poetry fighting!!!
This month we are proud to showcase one of our regulars as our headliner, the wonderful:
Andrea Gardia is a Spanish lady who has been writing since she was a little girl. She has a poetry book published in Spain called "25 noches" and a second book published in the UK called "Achromatic" which will be available from her at our slam this month.
She enjoys being outdoors and gets lots of her inspiration from nature, but what makes her poetry stand out are the subjects of raw emotion and vulnerability.
All in all, not to be missed!
