Through nutrition, movement, mindfulness, rest, and social connection, you'll learn how small, joyful lifestyle changes can support clarity, focus, and long-term cognitive health, and leave with a personalized plan to carry home. It's designed for anyone who wants to protect their brain, build healthier habits, and connect with a like-minded community.

What makes it unique

Every meal is chef-crafted and 100% plant-based — vibrant, whole-food dishes designed to nourish body and brain, with recipes to take home. Science-backed workshops are led by Drs. Dean and Ayesha Sherzai, joined by guest experts including registered dietitian and plant-based nutrition pioneer Brenda Davis, RD, and exercise physiologist Luca Pasquariello. Days blend learning with guided coastal walks, yoga, group movement, and evening bonfires. Past guests have called it "a family reunion for the mind."

What a day looks like

Mornings begin with movement and a nourishing breakfast, followed by interactive workshops on nutrition, exercise, stress, sleep, and cognitive resilience. Afternoons balance deeper sessions with rest, coastal walks, and free time to absorb and connect. Evenings bring communal plant-based dinners and gatherings by the fire.

The retreat fee covers all sessions and workshops, and meals are included with accommodation. Accommodation at Asilomar is booked separately at preferential rates. The venue offers wheelchair-accessible facilities and on-site parking. An optional comprehensive clinical assessment with Dr. Dean or Dr. Ayesha Sherzai is available as an add-on.
