About this Event
Join us at Save Our Seabirds for one, two or all five sessions! Sarasota is a true hotspot for birds, with more than 320 species living here or stopping by during migration. Each session will spotlight a different group of birds and give you the chance to connect with the incredible avian diversity right in our backyard. Free admission.
Presented by longtime volunteer and bird lover, Mattie Watson.

About Mattie
Mattie was nominated for the Haley Hall of Fame Award – one of Visit Sarasota County’s most prestigious recognitions - and we will find out soon if she wins!
Mattie is a former Connecticut yankee who settled in Florida full-time with her husband in 2014. Here, her fascination with birds grew exponentially upon seeing the amazing species found here. She has conducted over 40 bird-related talks in her home community and for clubs and special interest groups in Sarasota and Bradenton.
