Building on our first session—where we explored the joy of playing the piano and keeping music at the heart of our playing—this session will focus on more practical ways to make our practice time productive.
The session will cover the following aspects:
1) Exploring practical strategies for productive practice
2) Learning and discussing effective practice techniques
3) How to approach a new piece for the first time
4) Sharing our personal practice experiences - how everyone got on with their own chosen piece
5) Q&A session for any questions or challenges you'd like to explore
6) Performance time for anyone who would like to play
7) Optional feedback - positive, constructive and friendly comments of your performance to help you improve.
There's a participation fee of £27 which includes a light, continental breakfast, tea/coffee/soft drinks.
