Meet the Facilitator:
Dr Pallavi Narayan publishes across creative and critical writing. She has authored Pamuk’s Istanbul: The Self and the City (2022) and edited Singapore at Home: Life across Lines (2021). Her work spans publishing and higher education in India and Singapore, and extends to visual art and interdisciplinary practice. A recipient of international writing and publishing fellowships, she engages with contemporary literature and cross-cultural narratives.
What is the Baithak Classroom?
It is a series of lectures on literary analysis and criticism that shall engage with literature across languages. The Baithak Classroom will be beneficial not only for those who wish to study literature better but artists, too, so as to help them approach their art from a new perspective. This series is facilitated by teachers and artists who have demonstrated experience in the field of literary criticism.
