Riverfront Baithak: Poetry Walk in Botanical Garden

Join us as we celebrate and cherish Pune's natural heritage! An initiative by the volunteers of Pune Samvad and Pune Riverfront Revival in collaboration with Baithak and Beyond poetry community, the Poetry Walk is a step towards the preservation of our natural bounties. The walk will be facilitated by Poet Sonali Rasal.

🗒️Session outline: Our facilitators will introduce participants to the history and relevance of the Botanical Garden and the riverfront. This will be followed by a walk amongst age-old trees, reciting poetry along the way. In the end, we shall gather under a shade, continuing our poetry recitations nestled in the lap of nature. Participants can carry snacks to pass around and share in a potluck.

About the facilitator: Sonali Rasal is a poet and spoken word artist from Pune. As a Baithak initiative to create awareness about the environment , she will facilitate a walk through the Botanical Garden for poets and storytellers.
