The Art Wave

Welcome to The Art Wave: an all-ages, all-experience-level creative experience where you can slow down, explore your creativity, and spend some time making art.

There’s no set project you have to follow and no experience required. You choose what you want to create and how you want to create it.

Build your own art package from a selection of creative materials, then settle in and let your creativity flow. Whether you want to freely experiment, work on a personal idea, or try something completely new, The Art Wave gives you the space and freedom to make it your own.

Free Flow:
Choose your materials, build your art package, and create at your own pace. Follow your own ideas, experiment with different templates, or simply enjoy the process of making.

Guided Creation:
Want a little direction? Opt in for a pre-sketched canvas or guidance from our artist instructors, who can help you explore techniques, develop your idea, or get started when you're not quite sure where to begin.

Whether you're an experienced artist, a curious beginner, creating with your kids, or simply looking for a place to unplug for a while. You belong here.

Come for a little bit or stay awhile. Create something intentional or just play with the materials. There’s no right or wrong way to experience The Art Wave.

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at a low cost.
At select Art Wave pop-ups, we’ll also partner with Angelfood Edibles for a rotating selection of baked goods and other food options.

The Art Wave is part of a growing creative community by Illuminated & AJ Hollywood.

We host themed paint events, creative experiences, and community gatherings, while partnering with local artists and businesses to create spaces where people can connect, create, and have fun.

The Art Wave is our invitation to slow down, make something, and find your creative flow.
