Mongol Art Gallery | Ulaanbaatar, UB
When curatorial work is done well, it looks effortless — but behind this event there is so much dedication, collaboration, and care. My AS & A Level Art students have been working for weeks to bring “The Art of Tradition” to life, and I would truly love for you to join us and enjoy the results with us.
Saturday, 28th February
Mongol Art Gallery (BZD – 26 khoroo, Ulaanbaatar 13313)
Doors open at 1:00 PM | Event ends at 7:00 PM
This exhibition is a beautiful opportunity for students from both Primary and Secondary to showcase their artistic talent, with more than 250 works from Primary students alone.
All artwork will be available for purchase:
Primary School pieces: 15,000–20,000 MNT
Secondary School pieces: up to 200,000 MNT
Students are collaborating with JCI Mongolia, and all funds raised will go to a local charity. Payments can be made in cash or by bank transfer. Artwork will be distributed at the end of the event or during the following week.
Afternoon program:
1:00 PM – Doors open
2:00 PM – Welcome speeches
4:00 PM – Performance by a geisha (professional entertainer/artist from Japan)
– Traditional Australian songs (performed by a visiting couple)
6:00 PM – Piano performance
7:00 PM – Closing
This exhibition is a wonderful example of how our BSU students embrace opportunities beyond their academic studies — growing through creativity, collaboration, and service. These experiences help them balance the intense rhythm of IGCSE, AS, and A Levels while developing confidence, joy, and a sense of accomplishment.
If you are an artist, colleague, or friend in Ulaanbaatar, your presence would mean a lot — and it will mean even more to the students who curated this event with such heart.
Hope to see you there.
