Your culinary journey begins with a sophisticated lobster taco, highlighting the freshness of the sea in a beautifully balanced first course. Next, indulge in a pair of gourmet tacos featuring succulent duck and richly marbled Wagyu beef, each prepared with precision and creativity. The evening concludes with a whimsical dessert taco, where banana and peanut butter come together in an indulgent finale that is both comforting and unexpected.
To further enhance the experience, each course will be paired with a carefully selected wine chosen to complement the flavors of the dish. ABOUT CHEF JESSE PEREZ:
Chef Jesse T. Perez, named Top Latino Chef in the U.S. by the 2009 Flavors of Passion Awards, is the Executive Chef at Central Market Broadway where he has been a Parter since 2015. A University of Michigan graduate, Perez discovered his passion for food while working in local restaurants and went on tobuild a distinguished culinary career leading restaurants in San Antonio, Atlanta, and Long Beach, California.
A certified sommelier through the Guild of Master Sommeliers, Chef Jesse returned to San Antonio in 2010 to open Arcade Midtown Kitchen at Pearl, wherehis innovative blend of Latin-inspired and Americana flavors earned national acclaim and led to an invitation to cook at the prestigious James Beard House in2012.
In addition to his role at Central Market, Chef Jesse is co-founder and partner of New York City restaurants Oxido and Crisol, where he continues to celebrateMexican and Cuban cuisine through a contemporary lens.
