Join Essential Yoga Studio as we host sound healer and yoga teacher Madeline Mowery for The Art of Stillness, a three-part sound immersion experience in April, May, and June.This series is designed to be deeper than a traditional sound bath - with intentional space between sessions to integrate. Madeline will focus on sound healing for nervous system awareness, embodied listening, and learning how to carry this practice off the mat into everyday life.
Dress comfortably for movement and stillness; complementary hot tea and water provided.
Sensory Experience Expectations: Each 90-minute session includes somatic exploration and sound immersion. Participants will be lying down or seated on the floor; all movement is voluntary. Lighting may be low with battery-operated candles; participants may experience smoke cleansing or incense burning during the sound immersion. At times, music (whether played live or through the speaker) may be loud for some listeners bodies or ears; "ear muffs" welcome!
