What makes someone memorable in a room full of accomplished professionals?

In today’s crowded professional landscape, talent and hard work alone are rarely enough to set you apart. The professionals who consistently open doors, attract opportunities, and build powerful networks understand how to highlight what makes them distinctive.

In this session, career strategist Alix Boulud-Hutkin explores practical strategies for standing out in authentic and strategic ways. Participants will learn how identifying and sharing the unique experiences, interests, and perspectives that shape their story can make them more memorable, strengthen professional relationships, and create new opportunities.

The session will also introduce proactive ways to build career momentum—rather than waiting to be chosen. Through practical examples and actionable ideas, attendees will discover how small, intentional moves can expand credibility, signal initiative, and position them for new possibilities.

Whether you are actively networking, exploring a career pivot, seeking your next role, or simply looking to create more opportunity in your professional life, this session offers practical strategies for becoming more visible, memorable, and impactful in your field.

ABOUT ALIX BOULUD-HUTKIN

Alix is the Founder of Career Power Plays (CareerPowerPlays.org) and Villeneuve LLC (VilleneuveLLC.com), where she helps ambitious professionals level up their personal brand, turn applications into interviews, and take control of how they’re seen. By blending intelligence-style strategy with modern reputation enhancement techniques, Alix teaches people how to stand out for all the right reasons in a competitive job market.

Alix has over 15 years of combined experience in the fields of strategic communications, intelligence & investigations, and business development. In addition to Career Power Plays and Villeneuve, Alix serves as the Chief Child Development Officer to her twin toddlers–which has been, by far, her most challenging job to date as she tries her best to keep up with her exigent and demanding “tiny bosses.”

She is also deeply passionate about serving her community, and currently volunteers as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children experiencing abuse or neglect.

WEW events are all about connection and community, and we love sharing those moments. By attending a Women Empowering Women (WEW) meeting or event, you give permission for WEW and its organizers, leaders, and partners to capture and use photos, videos, or recordings that may include your image, voice, or likeness. These may be used – without compensation – for promotional, educational, or informational purposes across WEW print and digital channels.

All chapter meetings are FREE for anyone to attend. YES! You read that right.

(We just ask that if a chapter meeting is at a restaurant location, that you purchase a meal to support the location that is so graciously hosting our event. Don’t forget to tip your server a little extra as most restaurants are struggling with staffing issues and we want to make sure they know how much we appreciate them!)

Enjoy a proven, structured system that embraces the building of relationships which in turn will grow your business efficiencies, sales, exposure, and business processes.

Come meet and learn from panelists, experts, and local women in your WEW chapter. You will also find allies who want to help with your success and are ready to share their resources and expertise to help you take that next step in your personal and professional life.

For information about this chapter, please contact our corporate team at [email protected].
