Discover the ancient and beautiful Japanese art of Shibori! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll dive into the world of natural dye processes and learn how to create stunning, unique patterns on fabric using indigo dye.
Guided by expert instructor Sarah Lacey, you will explore various resist-dyeing methods—including folding techniques and the use of wooden blocks—to craft your own beautiful floral and geometric designs. You'll leave the session with your own custom-dyed fiber pieces to take home.

- No Experience Needed: All ages and skill levels are completely welcome! Whether you are a seasoned crafter or picking up a dye vat for the first time, this workshop is designed for you.
- All Materials Included: We provide everything you need to get started and complete your projects.
- Customize Your Craft: While all core materials are provided, you are welcome to bring a few personal fabric items from home to dye! (Note: To ensure the indigo takes perfectly, items must be 100% natural fibers like cotton, linen, or silk).
