The Art of Feeling: Sadness

The Art of Feeling is a series of immersive workshops exploring our emotions with curiosity, compassion and without judgement.
Following our workshops on Anger, Joy and Fear, our next exploration turns towards Sadness.
What is sadness?
How do we recognise and experience it?
What happens within the body?
How are our experiences and expressions of sadness influenced by our families, communities and cultures?
And what might we discover when we make space to explore it together?
Throughout the day, Alice Guerard of Alice Rainbow Yoga and Sandra Nussbaum of Nut Blossom Apothecary will weave together science, psychology, cultural and social perspectives, embodied practices, yoga and movement, meditation, herbalism, conversation and reflection.
This isn’t about telling you how you should feel, or offering a quick fix for an emotion that is part of being human. It is an invitation to explore, question, notice and experience.
🍂 Sunday 1 November 2026
🕙 10am–4pm
📍 West Fife Fencing Club, Old Wellwood Primary School, Dunfermline
🌿 Lunch and herbal refreshments included
